Ja’Marr can lead the Chase for Bengals

Ja’Marr Chase is the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He is a Pro Bowler and the proud owner of a number of records that appeared to tumble around him after every snap in 2021-22. Nobody in history has enjoyed as many receiving yards during their first season in the big leagues.

Chase cannot be touched either when it comes to most receiving yards by a rookie in the postseason, or claim to have matched the 266 he managed in a single game against the Kansas City Chiefs back on January 9.

Explosive

One of the most explosive wide receivers in the business is a bona fide superstar, and he is just getting started. That offers serious cause for excitement within Cincinnati Bengals circles, with there still so much for a rejuvenated franchise to achieve.

They made their way to the last dance last time out, only to come unstuck on Super Bowl Sunday against the LA Rams at SoFi Stadium, and have a serious itch to scratch there. A loyal fan base is prepared to back that cause to the hilt and to browse this site is to find new ways of showing support, with the Superbook online sports betting app set to land in Ohio offering a variety of markets, bonuses and promo codes.

Colors aplenty will be nailed to the Bengals mast as hope that was bubbling away under the surface is once again threatening to reach boiling point.

Given how close Zac Taylor’s side came last season to hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy aloft, only to fall agonizingly short, a slow start to the current campaign was perhaps to be expected. Back-to-back defeats out of the blocks, and three through their opening five games, suggested that there was rust to be addressed.

The same could be said for Chase as an individual, with a hip problem ruling him out from late October through to the start of December. Given his value to the cause, an enforced absence was always going to be felt and questions would be asked about his ability to hit the ground running once back to full fitness.

There really should be no doubting such a mercurial talent, with Chase having said when asked if it will take him a few matches to get back up to full speed: “I don’t think I can be stopped if I’m being honest. I’m out there playing football, playing my game. So when I’m in a rhythm, on a roll… the timing is there, and I’m just playing football.”

Confidence

Such confidence is well placed and has been hard-earned. Given his exploits for the Bengals to date, one of the hottest prospects in the NFL has every right to believe that he can be untouchable on his day. History has already been made, and the plan is to write a few more chapters in that book over the coming months and years.

With Joe Burrow getting his swagger back and the Bengals beginning to bare their teeth once more, another run to the playoffs and potentially through to ultimate glory in Arizona is on the cards. The Chase is on for a historic Super Bowl triumph, and Ja’Marr will be leading the way.
