Julia Fox’s brother admits he had “no idea” that his sister had come out as a lesbian
On Wednesday, Julia Fox’s brother admitted he had “no idea” that his famous sister had recently come out as a lesbian. He told the Washington Post that he had lost 50 pounds since he was arrested for gun possession over a year ago.
Christopher Fox, 31, was stunned when a Post photographer asked him his opinion on the “Uncut Gems” star’s comments about her sexuality earlier this month.
“Are you coming here?” Fox asked, confusing the question with the thought of his older sister coming to the Manhattan Supreme Court before rephrasing it.
“I have no idea – maybe? Frankly, I don’t know,” Fox said at the Lower Manhattan courthouse, where he was attending a routine hearing in his ongoing criminal case on charges that he ran a 3D-printed gun business out of his family’s Upper East Side apartment.
Fox, who is free on $450,000 bail in the case, was barely recognizable in a black suit that completely swallowed him and told the Post he had slimmed down since his arrest in March 2023.
“I eat less and exercise. I was on the treadmill every day for six months,” he said, denying that he uses Ozempic, a weight-loss injection popular with celebrities.
“I still have a long way to go,” he added. “I’ve lost 50 pounds, but I still have another 50 [pounds] go.”
The 34-year-old actress did not appear in court on Wednesday but has shown up at previous appearances to support her little brother, wearing flashy outfits and at one point getting into a loud argument with the father during a hearing.
She came out as a lesbian after revealing that she has been celibate for over two years in a reaction to a TikTok video on July 8, in which someone said, “I love when I see a lesbian with her boyfriend. It’s like, ‘Oh, you hate that man. You literally hate him.'”
“Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. I’m so sorry, guys. It won’t happen again,” Julia joked in the video that has since gone viral.
From 2018 to 2020, she was married to Peter Artemiev before ending the relationship and moving on with Kanye West.
She and the controversial rapper were together for less than two months in 2022.
Her brother was charged with weapons possession and weapons manufacturing for allegedly using a 3D printer to create parts that could be used to build “ghost guns.”
He has pleaded not guilty.
