House of the Dragon Season 2 Release Schedule: When Will the Season Finale Come Out?
House of the Dragon Season 2 is coming to an end, wrapping up eight episodes of war, dragons, and the ongoing battle for the Iron Throne.
After a long two-year wait, House of the Dragon Season 2 is set to premiere in June 2024. Season 1 left us with something of a cliffhanger, with Rhaenyra Targaryen reeling from the news of her son’s murder. What’s more, Team Green is now firmly on the Iron Throne, setting the stage for the coming war.
Since then, the show has spent seven episodes revealing what Rhaenyra, Alicent, Daemon, and their partners (aka: the dragons) have been up to. Now, the finale is almost here, so you might want to check to see if you’re tuning in at the right time.
With that in mind, we’ve consulted the Master of Whisperers to give you everything you need to know about when Episode 8 of Season 2 will premiere.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Finale Release Date
The House of the Dragon Season 2 finale premieres August 4 at 6pm PT/9pm ET on HBO.
It will bring the second season of the Game of Thrones spin-off series to a close. While there are plenty of questions to answer – how will the dragonseeds fare with their dragons? Will Daemon escape his nightmare of Harrenhal? – the most pressing issue comes from whether Aemond will attack Team Black.
