According to food expert Casey Barber, the oils in peanuts will spoil when you leave them warm, which can lead to a rancid snack.

But keeping nuts in a humid place is also not good. Casey revealed on Eatingthat it may actually “contain unsafe bacteria.”

Instead, she suggests storing any nuts in an airtight container and storing them in the freezer.

“This applies to tree nuts, peanuts, and nuts like pine nuts, too,” she notes.

Earlier, a nutritionist shared that peanuts are one of 12 foods that should be consumed to have a better sleep.

One particular nut to watch out for is almonds.

They’re actually filled with “the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin and the mineral magnesium.”

When you consume them, melatonin balances your body’s internal clock to help you relax.

For peanuts to work, try a small portion in a salty bedtime snack.

In addition to helping you relax before bed, a sex expert revealed almonds also help boost your sex drive.

Since this particular nut contains a lot of vitamin E, it is said to encourage the production of sex hormones, which leads to libido.

Plus, they were linked together to deal with fertility in ancient times.

Sexpert revealed: “After I snacked all day, I definitely felt my mood lift and my sense of desire increased.”
