Have a lot of Latin album we have on repeat in 2021. At the beginning of the year, the Spaniards C. Tangana has received critical acclaim El Madrileño, has delved into the roots of essential music in Madrid, home of Tangana, while incorporating global genres including Cuban Boy and Mexicans norteño.
Then there are CamiloExtremely personal set Mis Manos, or as he describes it, “exploring all the facets of my identity,” where the Colombian star joins bachata, cumbia and norteño. The Latin Grammy Award-winning album was released during the ongoing pandemic, while he was with his wife, actress-singer Evaluna Montaner.
Karol WOOD also dropped her highly anticipated dance genre album KG0516, which cemented her as a top hit female singer in Latin music. The eclectic set includes power-ups including “El Makinón” and “Bichota,” but also gems like “El Barco” and “200 Copas” – her first lobby – highlight a more vulnerable Karol.
