A food expert shared how she used a cheese grater to create the perfect egg salad.
Social media user and foodie Rachl Mansfield shared a videotapes about her making egg salad, but in a rather unusual way.
Instead of slicing or mashing a hard-boiled egg with a fork, this food expert shredded her egg with a cheese grater.
She first peels off the shell of the egg and then pulls it through the wings of the extractor, making sure that the egg pieces fall into the bowl below.
The result is perfectly finely mashed hard-boiled eggs, ready to use in egg salads.
She mixes her eggs with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and bacon nibs and spreads them on toast.
“Oh my gosh, this is so good,” she said.
One user commented: “I’ve been grinding eggs for 30 years, making them so creamy.”
Another said she uses a potato masher for her poached eggs.
