Yankees’ Aaron Judge dodges vaccine issue after Mandate news

Aaron Judge didn’t want to go there.

After the news broke that Yankees and Mets players would be committed to the same vaccine mandate in New York City Regulations that barred Kyrie Irving from playing home games for the Nets, the Yankees hitter was asked by reporters if he was vaccinated.

“I’m still focused on getting to the first game of spring training,” Judge replied.

“I think we’ll cross that bridge whenever the time comes, but so many things could change right now so I’m not too concerned about that.”

While Judge may be unconcerned, one has to imagine that the Yankees and Mets have begun to worry about problems that may arise.
