Gia Kim is taking on the role of Yuri in Netflix’s XO Kitty series, but what do we know about the actress — from her age and Instagram to previous roles?

The latest series to appear on the streamer is XO, Kitty, a spin-off of the popular To All The Boys series, which features a host of new faces in their first major roles, including Gia Kim who plays Yuri.

Yuri Han is one of several key characters in XO, Kitty.

She is an attractive social media star with wealthy parents including school principal Jina Lim.

When the series begins and Kitty Song Covey arrives at her new school in Seoul, South Korea, she immediately develops a dislike for Yuri as the social media queen appears to be in a relationship with Kitty’s own boyfriend, Dae.

However, as the episodes progress, Kitty realizes that Dae and Yuri’s relationship is actually fake, as Dae is only posing as Yuri’s boyfriend to cover up the fact that she is gay and in love with her best friend, Juliana, which is what her strict parents do not approve.

Kitty and Yuri’s already complicated relationship takes on an even more complex dynamic when Kitty begins to develop romantic feelings for her former rival after Yuri takes care of her after getting heavily drunk at a party.

Meet actress Gia Kim

Kitty takes on the role of Yuri in “XO” and is South Korean-American actress Gia Kim.

Gia Kim was born on April 29, 1994 in Seoul and is 29 years old as of XO, Kitty’s release in May 2023.

She now resides in Los Angeles and holds dual citizenship of South Korea and the United States.

Like most actors in the modern industry, Gia Kim is very active on social media, particularly on Instagram, where she posts behind-the-scenes pictures of her work and personal life to a current following of over 338,000 — a number that has exploded since the series began arrived.

This comes after the actress made her debut appearance in the 2021 short film Happy Ending.
