‘Would love him’: Jamie O’Hara is desperate for Tottenham to sign the 26-year-old winger

TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has said he would love to see Tottenham Hotspur sign Kaoru Mitoma from Brighton and Hove Albion.

That’s what the former Tottenham Hotspur player said talkSPORT (5:36 p.m., August 19, 2023) that Kaoru Mitoma is a very good winger and would love Spurs to sign the Brighton and Hove Albion star in the summer transfer window.

O’Hara added he doesn’t think Tottenham chief executive Daniel Levy will spend the money to secure the services of the 26-year-old Japan international.

The pundit shared his thoughts on Mitoma while discussing his goal and performance for Brighton against Wolverhampton Wanderers away at the Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The winger found the net in the 15th minute after defeating four defenders and passing goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Interestingly, Mitoma was linked with Tottenham’s bitter north London rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

TalkSPORT Last week Arsenal reported that Arsenal were interested in the winger but Brighton are reluctant to sell him and are confident he will put a new contract on paper.

O’Hara said of Tottenham and Mitoma: “I would love him but we won’t get him.

“I don’t know what we’re going to spend our money on, but we’re definitely not going to buy Mitoma.”

Mitoma has made 35 Premier League appearances in his career so far.

The 26-year-old Japan international has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in those games.

Tottenham are aiming for a place in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
