World Cup fans say the loser of the USA v England game will have to take James Corden

The loser takes Corden.

FIFA World Cup fans have upped the ante for the upcoming game between England and USA by saying the loser will need to keep actor and talk show host James Corden permanently within his confines.

“If England beat the USA on Friday, they must keep James Corden permanently.” tweeted a user.

“America vs England on Friday winner retains James Corden” said Another.

“This has become the greatest game in the history of football” joked Another.

“Well, that’s a much bigger prize than winning any World Cup,” a fourth person wrote.

The Post reached out to Corden for comment.

The ‘Late Late Show’ host recently made headlines after allegedly causing a scene at New York’s Balthazar restaurant and then being banned by famed restaurant owner Keith McNally.

McNally later lifted the restraining order and said he was sorry for exposing Corden — who claimed in 2020 he had anger issues — and that “all is forgiven.” However, Corden later admitted on his late-night show that he was “rude” to the restaurant staff, and he “deeply regretted” it.

“James Corden just called and apologized profusely,” McNally wrote in an Instagram post. “Having screwed myself more than most, I’m a firm believer in second chances.”

Corden was later accused of allegedly stealing one of comedian Ricky Gervais’ 2018 jokes – an allegation the 44-year-old has denied.
