Woman wanted in ‘smash and take’ car theft in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla – Police are searching for a woman they believe was involved in two ‘smash and grab’ car thefts on January 26.
According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the woman was caught walking into a CVS on Daniels Parkway, where she allegedly attempted to use a stolen credit card from one of the vehicles. , according to the Fort Myers Police Department.

Police say two cars were stolen between 6:40 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. at a parking lot in the Six Mile Cypress and Dani Drive area.
Shortly after the theft occurred, police said the woman was seen stepping out of a blue or gray SUV before entering CVS and attempting to purchase a gift card with the stolen credit card.
