LONDON (AP) – Britain’s association of primary nurses has warned that burnout and rising coronavirus cases among healthcare workers are pushing them to a tipping point. That adds to the pressure on the government for new restrictions aimed at curbing the number of infections caused by the omicron variant. Monday’s warning made clear the unbelievable choice facing Prime Minister Boris Johnson: ruin holiday plans for millions of people for a second year in the making, or face a wave potential for incidents and disruptions. Many governments in Europe and the United States are facing similar dilemmas about the difficulty of giving up omicrons.
