Wind contributes to chilly weather, plus chance for a breeze – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – The work week has started cold and windy. Today’s highs don’t exceed 40s today, making it look like winter!
Clouds will rise overnight as temperatures drop below freezing.

Another Alberta Clipper system is expected to dive Tuesday morning in the mid-Atlantic. It will be a very fast-moving system and will lack significant moisture, but it will present the potential for flare-ups and light sleet for parts of central Maryland.
The best chance of seeing these chat snowflakes would be for areas north and west of the Beltway, however, a brief sleet or a few showers could also sneak into Baltimore.

Little or no accumulation is expected throughout central Maryland. Even in the mountains, forecasts show less than 1″ of snow accumulation as the system moves through the area.

If you live south and east of the city, you’re out of luck if you’re hoping to see a few pieces. Instead, just expect an increase in cloud cover for a period of time during the first half of Tuesday.
