Why This Year’s Dancing On Ice Is The Most Unpredictable Ever

DANCING On Ice has never been without drama since Gemma Collins’ famous fall to judge rows of seats and sensational routines.

But series in 2022 According to Dan Whiston, the show’s Deputy Creative Director will be the most unpredictable thing ever.

A bunch of brand-new stars will hit the ice on Sunday after months of hard work on the training ground, and Dan says it’s really anyone’s game.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, he said: “Everybody wants to take the trophy home, more than ever this year.

“We’ve probably got a top five or six team, which we’ve never had at this stage.”

Dan spends most of his time driving up and down the highway to work with every couple, and unofficial leaderboards are constantly being trained as celebrities continue to improve.

“There’s a real group of six couples that are frontrunners and it’s very difficult to separate them. This year is unpredictable, far from there,” Dan said.

The show is one of the most dangerous shows on television with nasty falls and sometimes broken bones while all the celebrities and pros push themselves to the limit.

Fortunately, there have been no major collisions so far this year, but that doesn’t mean the stars are cutting down on the risk factors.

Dan said: “The show is dangerous, full of danger. Because the standards are too high and the trauma is happening.

“When you watch a show, it’s really exciting for everyone because we’ll probably be on the normal seven or eight standard show.

“Everybody’s up there, especially Brendan [Cole], he’s pushing boundaries, he’s got ideas that he’s bringing to the iceberg that we often see on Serious. “

Like Vanessa Bauer, Brendan’s partner with The Terminator, Dan said this year’s team is made of steel.

He added, “This year, the cast felt like an army. Everyone stood up and was like, ‘I’m fine’.”

Dan Whiston as VP of Creative for Dancing On Ice will be back on our screens on ITV at 18:30pm on Sunday.
