Whistleblower Hunter Biden says he’s ‘confirmed’

The former computer shop owner who busted Hunter Biden’s laptop said he was “confirmed” after Twitter owner Elon Musk released the explosive account of how the social media giant shattered The Post’s coverage of the in Disgraced first son censored dealings.

“I’m grateful. I don’t know how many people know, but I was basically ruined financially by Twitter last year. I was trying to save my career because Twitter labeled my actions as hacking,” John Paul said Mac Isaac in an interview with Fox News on Sunday, noting that he has sued the company for defamation.

“Obviously, seeing Elon release this material on Friday night was very exciting for me because I felt like I knew it was true all along. And I feel validated,” he said.

John Paul Mac Isaac, who whistled at Hunter Biden's laptop, said it was him "approved" by Elon Musk releasing a report on how Twitter suppressed The Post's story about it.

He also said things could have turned out differently for him and his legal challenges would have owned Twitter earlier.

“If he had bought Twitter during the litigation, I think things would have gone a little better for me. But you know, it is what it is. And I’m grateful that now the truth is coming out and I feel vindicated,” Mac Isaac said, joking that if Musk wants free tech support, “he has it.”

Musk, who bought Twitter for $44 billion in October, published a scathing account on Friday, through journalist Matt Taibbi, of how the company’s top officials suppressed the October 2020 disclosure of The Post on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

The decision to censor the story was made at “the highest level of the company,” arguing that the report violated Twitter’s “hacked materials” policy — a conclusion several insiders have challenged, the in said Taibbi’s report.

Mac Isaac said the hacking theory didn’t work.

“The FBI took possession of the laptop on December 9th and with that they took all my notes, all my information that I had given them and that gave them ample time to check that data and realize that it wasn’t Russia was,” he said.

It had been ten months since the FBI stole the laptop from Mac Isaac’s Delaware computer store in December 2019 until October 2020, when The Post published its report on Hunter Biden.

“As I watched the Internet shutdown on October 14, the New York Post broke the story at 6:30 a.m. At nine o’clock you couldn’t find any discussion about it on the internet,” Mac Isaac said.

“It’s not something that happens naturally. It’s something that’s coordinated and set up so that when the story gets out, they’re ready to flip a switch and turn it off,” he continued. “And that’s exactly what happened.”

Hunter Biden left his laptop at the repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware, in April 2019, and Mac Isaac said he turned his hard drive over to the FBI. Months later, he got in touch with Rudy Giuliani, who was then an attorney for then-President Donald Trump.

Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of the hard drive.

Mac Isaac’s lawsuit against Twitter was dismissed, but litigation is pending against a number of other individuals and organizations.

He said that through the lawsuits he has filed and his book, American Injustice: My Battle to Expose the Truth, he hopes “the truth will come out” about what really happened to Hunter Biden’s laptop and “me with my life.” can go on.”
