Where to buy tickets, schedule, dates

We “just can’t get enough” of Depeche Mode.

Thankfully, the English synth-pop veterans return to the streets for ten dates on the North American leg of their stadium ‘Memento Mori Tour’ after a five-year hiatus from touring.

Her final stop in the US will be at New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 14.

The tour, which shares a name with Depeche Mode’s forthcoming new album, is also the group’s first following two monumental events for them – their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 and the untimely death of keyboardist Andy ” Fletch” Fletcher.

And while they won’t replace Fletch, they will carry on.

“The only thing I can do is make music with Martin (Gore),” frontman Dave Gahan told NME. He continued, “…hopefully that brings people together.”

So if you need to “reach out and touch the room,” follow our example. We’ve got everything you need to know about the tour below.

New music from Depeche Mode

2023’s album Memento Mori is the group’s first since 2017’s Spirit.

In 2020, Gahan and Gore began writing music for the forthcoming album from afar, and much of the material they penned reflected the grim sentiment of the time – the album’s title can be summed up with the heavy aide ‘Remember translate that you must die”.

Her collaborative style was also a product of the quarantine period.

The two sent song ideas back and forth. In an interview with Billboard, Gore shared, “I was playing guitar and kind of singing on my iPhone,” and Gahan “sent it back with his angelic voice.”

At the time of publication, the group has yet to release any music from Memento Mori.
