Where to buy tickets, schedule

Although the night of September 21 is over this year, Earth, Wind and Fire will continue to boogie in late 2022 and early 2023.

From December 10th to May 6th, the legendary R&B group that brought the world mega hits like “Let’s Groove”, “Shining Star”, “Fantasy” and so many more will play eight shows across North America.

This includes two major shows at Atlantic City’s Etess Arena at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on December 30th and 31st.

And if these electrifying concert footage from a recent performance in Mexico City are any indication, the inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame haven’t lost a step since their heyday in the ’70s and ’80s.

So if you’re looking to step into a “boogie wonderland” and descend with the perennial group, here’s everything you need to know.

Earth, Wind and Fire new music

In 2021, Verdine White and Co. will cause a stir with their chart-topping single “You Want My Love” with Lucky Daye.

The track reached the top 10 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart for the first time in 28 years.

Her simple, no-frills video for the catchy three-minute bop can be seen below.

R&B groups to tour in 2023

Just because you might not be able to see Earth, Wind and Fire in 2022-23 because they play so few gigs doesn’t mean some really great R&B acts won’t be coming to a city near you.

Here are just five of our favorite R&B acts not to be missed live in 2023.

• Lizzo

• The temptations with the four spinning tops

• Ushers

• Patti Labelle

• Brian McKnight
