The radio star said she was disappointed not to be the host – but assured fans they were in safe hands with Britain’s Got Talent’s Alesha Dixon, who would replace her.

Taking to Instagram, Zoe wrote: “Pook! cleared the last hurdle and had a positive lat flow this morning – nooooooo – the beautiful @aleshaofficial will be working double shift at @ComicRelief tonight, I owe you dear madam.

“Good luck to Lenny, David, @mcguinness.paddy, @ajodudu, @vernonkay and the @comicrelief gang, there are so many brilliant treats tonight.

“I’ll be watching from the bed and supporting (probably in full makeup, outfit, heels and all) could invite @joeldommett into the #infirmary.”
