I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here Fans can rejoice – the series is back.

Unlike the past two years, its famous contestants have to travel much further than North Wales to try to prove their mettle.

Due to the pandemic, the series has had to be held at Gwrych Castle, Wales for two consecutive years.

In 2022, however, the popular ITV reality series is returning to its roots and will once again take place in the Australian jungle.

The cast for the 2022 edition of i am a celebrity includes DJ Chris Moyles, English footballer Jill Scott and Permissive women Star Charlene White as well as Culture Club singer Boy George and – in the most sensational reality TV casting of the year – Conservative MP Matt Hancock.

But where exactly is i am a celebrity actually filmed?

The series was initially filmed in Queensland, in northeastern Australia. However, for the second series in 2003, production was moved to New South Wales.

especially the i am a celebrity “Jungle” is located in Springbrook National Park, near Murwillumbah.

The 15,310-hectare area isn’t actually a jungle, as it’s called throughout the show, but a rainforest.
