STORM Eunice has ripped through the UK over the past few days, causing havoc as it unfolds.
After taking Rooftop The O2 and with gusts of up to 122 km/h, Typhoon Eunice may be starting to ease.
When will Storm Eunice end?
The storm made landfall in the UK on 18 February 2022 bringing extreme winds and heavy rainfall.
Looks like Eunice will stay put for the weekend with other weather warnings issued by the Met Office.
My advice is to check the weather in your area for an update early next week.
Eunice will continue next week with hints of snow in areas like the Midlands.
When are weather warnings issued?
Originally issued by the Met Office red warning across parts of the UK but this has changed to a yellow warning.
There are wind and snow warnings in place over most of England and Wales for the weekend and Monday 21, 2022.
These will remain in place until 3pm on Monday, but the Met Office may update this information if the storm does not ease.
Yellow warnings still indicate severe weather, although the worst could be behind us.
What is the weekend forecast?
Most parts of the UK will see high winds and rain this weekend.
A yellow warning indicates there may still be some damage to infrastructure.
They suggest avoiding coastal areas where possible and not making unnecessary trips as there could be fallen trees and more delays.
