WhatsApp crashes for Apple iPhone users globally as customers complain about app outage on social network

WHATSAPP users around the world are reporting that the app crashes as soon as they open, leaving them unable to reply to messages or access their contact list.

The issue has been reported on WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business and WhatsApp beta.

Many users took to Twitter to voice their disappointment and now Downdetector has shown an increase in self-reported reports.

The problem is believed to be related to the iOS 15.2 update, however users say the problem is also occurring on older operating system versions.
