“What the f**k?”: New York City Councilwoman gets kissed on the cheek by a random man during a live interview

During a live interview conducted on a Brooklyn sidewalk earlier this week, New York City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov got an unwelcome surprise from a passing man, who interrupted their conversation to kiss her on the cheek. The moment was captured on video, which you can watch below, and shows Vernikov reacting appropriately to the ghoulish attack, turning to watch the man walk away while uttering a resounding “What the f**k ? She shared the footage on social media afterwards, commenting on the event, saying, “Not the kind of love I expect from voters!”

According to the New York Police Department, there is no complaint report on the incident, but many of their colleagues have jumped to their side. “Unfortunately, this disgusting behavior is all too common in the everyday lives of women,” tweeted Councilwoman Marjorie Velazquez. “We must not allow sexual assault to become a normal part of our public interactions.”

“It’s not funny at all” wrote Councilman Robert Holden. “It’s amazing how many creeps walk the streets!”
