What is Virgin error v53 code?

Virgin Media has a problem on December 2, 2021, with thousands of customers complaining of no TV service.

The problems started around 10:30 am.

They quickly skyrocketed with thousands of people when users complained about locked out of Virgin Media’s services.

Up to 17,100 reports of problems were detected this morning on Error alarm set.

There have been problems reported across the country, with hotspots in London, Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester.

Customers reported TV power outages and also reported wifi issues, but Virgin said Internet service Unaffected.

The company’s website also appears to have experienced an issue on December 1, 2021, but it’s unclear if that was due to the problem or because of the spike in visitors to the site.

One Virgin Media customer said on Twitter: “So no TV, no WiFi, can’t stream from the app and can’t report because the website is down and your customer service won’t answer the phone.

“Can you tell me why I pay so much for nothing?”

Another Twitter user said: “So I’m also getting V53 errors on all channels and don’t bother asking me to check online status as both your website and app are down.”

Why is Virgin Media shutting down?

Virgin Media has yet to offer an explanation of what has caused the problem.

In a statement on Twitter, the company said: “We are aware of an issue currently affecting TV services and are working hard to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
