VIRGIN Media customers can now receive a C133 error message when they try and use their TV services.
This code indicates that there is a problem connecting to the company’s services.
What is the ‘Virgin error C133’ code?
Error code C133 with a message: “There was a problem connecting to Virgin Media Service.”
Customers can try to resolve the issue themselves by restarting their system.
This is done by simply turning it off and then back on.
It can also be done via your TV box remote.
Virgin Media’s website says:
Using your TV box remote:
- Choose Home button
- Use the directional buttons to select Help & Settings
- Selection Setting
- Selection Network
- Selection Connecting: get status or Connect with Virgin Media Service now
If that procedure does not fix the problem, Virgin Media recommends that you contact their customer service team.
Virgin Media customers can also get a Error code V53.
What is the current status of Virgin Media?
At the time of writing, Virgin Media’s services still decrease.
Out of more than 18,000 reports about Error alarm set, 65% are related to their TV services, 18% are related to TV streaming, and 17% are experiencing complete blackouts.
Virgin Media posted an announcement on Twitter page at 11:28 a.m. on December 2, 2021, said: “We are aware of an issue currently affecting TV services and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
But there hasn’t been any update since then, or any reason given as to what caused the problem.
