Trends TIKTOK – they come and they go.
Here’s a closer look at why “Picasso” took over the internet in 2022.
What is the Picasso sound on TikTok?
The sound Picasso on TikTok comes from a video showing a person approaching a car wrapped in what appears to be tinfoil.
He said, “What is this?” and the person next to the car replied, “it’s an art project.”
The user, @itsreefa, then said: “Okay, I like it. Picasso.”
In the video, the person sitting next to the car is dressed in avant-garde fashion: they wear a purple dress featuring a Slinky toy, green gloves, and an orange wig.
Since it was first posted in January 2022, Picasso’s audio has been included in thousands of videos.
