What is Stuff Your Kindle Day? How to get thousands of free ebooks

Everyone is raving about Stuff Your Kindle Day on social media, but what is it actually? Read on to find out.

Amazon launched the very first Kindle in 2007 and revolutionized the way we read books by allowing people to buy and download thousands of e-books on one device.

A number of other companies followed suit, including Apple Books and Google Play, but Amazon’s version is still the most popular over a decade later.

In the United States alone, there are more than 30 million active Kindle users, and more and more people are turning to e-books as an alternative to paperbacks.

What is Stuff Your Kindle Day?

Stuff Your Kindle Day is an unofficial promotion in the United States where a huge selection of e-book romance novels are free for 24 hours.

There are many different Stuff Your Kindle days throughout the year, but one of them takes place today, March 31st.

Despite the name, it’s not just Amazon’s Kindle books that are free. You can get free books on all major e-book reading sites.

That includes Apple Books, Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo, and Google Play, but it’s called Stuff Your Kindle because it’s the most popular.

Essentially, all brands have partnered with authors to offer free books for a limited time, but the day isn’t being promoted.

How to get free ebooks

You can get free books just by going to your chosen website and checking which ones are free.

However, most people use a website called Romance Bookworms to find their novels because they have compiled a list of all the free books.

Visit the website and select an e-book retailer. Then scroll down and you will see a huge list of books that are free for 24 hours.

If you like how it looks, click the link and it will take you straight to the page where you can buy the e-book for free.

Note that due to the price bot system, some of the free offers may accidentally revert to their normal price throughout the day.

If a book isn’t free, add it to your Wishlist and Amazon should notify you when the price drops back to zero.

Stuff Your Kindle Day comes just weeks after a father’s novel Stone Maidens became an Amazon bestseller thanks to TikTok.

He spent 14 years writing the book and for the next 11 years he hoped it would work, and his daughter shared his heartwarming story on the app.

when is the next

The next Stuff Your Kindle Day is three months from now, on June 30, reveals Romance Bookworm.

Everyone went crazy over the promotion on Twitter, where one person wrote, “STUFF YOUR KINDLE DAY!!!!”

“I’m really looking forward to your Kindle Day stuff tomorrow! I didn’t even know such a thing existed until a week ago. I literally went out and bought an SD card for more storage,” said another.

A third person added, “Stuff your kindle day…I didn’t know it was a thing but there are so many free books out there.”

So what are you waiting for? Go and download hundreds of free books before it’s too late!
