Jeremy Clarkson has come under fire for his recent comments about Meghan Markle, with a host of other celebrities criticizing his “hateful” tirade.
In his column for The sunthe journalist and former top gear The presenter said: “I can’t sleep at night lying there grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she has to parade naked through the streets of every city in Britain while the crowd chants ‘Shame! and throw clumps of excrement at them.”
He also said he hates Markle “not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West,” but on a “cellular level.”
Carol Vorderman, John Bishop and Kathy Burke are among the celebrities who have condemned Clarkson’s comments on Twitter.

“I want to make it clear that I stand against everything my dad has written about Meghan Markle,” she wrote on Instagram. “I continue to stand in support of those targeted with online hate.”
This is far from the first time Clarkson has attacked Markle. He has even publicly sided with his notorious adversary Piers Morgan on the Sussexes issue.
Over the past two years, through a torrent of online criticism and newspaper columns, Clarkson has continued to give Markle the attention he has claimed “so desperately craves.”

In another column for The sunClarkson said that “serious people” talking about climate change, like Markle and Greta Thunberg, made things “worse.”
He said: “When Meghan Markle told me to leave the car at home, I wanted to shoot a polar bear in the face.”
