‘What a player’: Lisandro Martinez stunned by £165k-a-week Tottenham Hotspur star

Manchester United centre-back Lisandro Martinez has praised Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Cristian Romero on Instagram.
Lisandro Martinez, a key Manchester United player, was impressed by Cristian Romero’s performance and goal for Tottenham Hotspur against Brentford away in the Premier League last weekend.

Spurs played a 2-2 draw with Brentford in Sunday’s London derby.
Argentina centre-back Romero scored for Spurs in the 11th minute.

The £165,000 per week (Spotrac) defender hit the net with a well-aimed header from a free-kick from Spurs attacking midfielder James Maddison.
However, Romero came off immediately as a precaution after apparently complaining of a hit to the head in the celebration, as reported by BBC Sports.
Martinez plays with Romero for the Argentina national football team and is very happy for his compatriot.
The defender wrote: “What a player”.
While Spurs are aiming to finish in the top four in the Premier League, United are determined to win the title this season.
Erik ten Hag’s side will also play in the UEFA Champions League this season.
We don’t expect United to quite make it in Europe’s premier club competition, but the former UEFA Champions League winners will be determined to make a difference and advance to the finals.
It’s going to be an interesting season for Tottenham and United, as well as for Martinez and Romero.
