‘What a player’: Jude Bellingham delighted as Liverpool reportedly demanded £119,000-a-week

Jude Bellingham has expressed his admiration for Real Madrid teammate Aurelien Tchouameni, a player Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool reportedly wanted to bring to Anfield in the summer transfer window.

Praise for Liverpool summer target Aurelien Tchouameni

France defeated the Republic of Ireland 2:0 in the European Championship qualification on Thursday.

Tchouameni scored the first goal for France in the 19th minute.

The 23-year-old started the game in a defensive two-midfield system.

The Madrid star almost scored his second goal for France.

Liverpool tried to sign Tchouameni

In June, Defense Central reported that Madrid had rejected a €60m (£51.51m) offer from Liverpool for the youngster.

Chelsea also reportedly tried to sign Tchouameni, but the Frenchman remained in Madrid.

Tchouameni has played four La Liga games for Madrid so far this season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are aiming to win the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League this season.
