Wednesday, Season 2: Netflix users denounce ‘senseless’ death scene in new Addams Family series

Netflix users are decrying a “pointless” moment starring in a new series on Wednesday.

The new series, which released earlier this month, is a prequel to The Addams Family and follows the character played in the films by Barry Sonnenfeld, directed by Christina Ricci.

The starring role in the show that receives critical acclaim is Jenna Ortega, whose credits include X and the latest Scream sequel.

But it’s the death of another character that leaves fans disappointed by the show’s ending.

In fact, many viewers agree it was unnecessary and are demanding that the character return in season two.
