Bills quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs will make their preseason debuts tonight against Pittsburgh, while Buffalo’s first-team offense and defense are expected to play about a quarter or two each, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Allen and Diggs sat out the team’s pre-season opener.

The fight for the important starting positions of middle linebacker, cornerback two and right guard will continue. Tyrel Dodson gets a great opportunity as a linebacker as his main rival for the position, Terrel Bernard, is struggling with a hamstring injury and won’t be playing. As cornerbacks, Dane Jackson, Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford all have another chance to prove they are worthy of starting XI against Tre’Davious White. Finally, it’s also worth keeping an eye on the duel between Ryan Bates and rookie O’Cyrus Torrence for the right guard spot along the offensive line.

There was a lot of buzz about speedy depth wide receiver Andy Isabella, who shone in last Saturday’s win over the Colts and drew some attention at training camp. The 26-year-old signed with the Bills in late July and is likely to find plenty of support in the second half.

When can I see BKL again?

Buffalo Kickoff Live will return on August 26 at 12:30 p.m. prior to the Bills’ final preseason game against the Chicago Bears. Following the competition, Buffalo Postgame Live will recap the action and prepare you for Squad Cut Day on August 29th.
