ANTOINE GRIEZMANN proved that even seasoned veterans can do the old “knight for goalpost” trick of posing as a famous footballer.

Walk down to your local park in the noughties and you would inevitably hear someone yell “Rooney!” after beating home a long-distance worldie.

But apparently even the pros pose as someone else during their kickabouts.

France star GriezmannThe 31-year-old proved that with over 250 professional goals this week.

Ahead of his country’s friendly against South Africa on Tuesday night, the Barcelona star – on loan at Atletico Madrid – displayed one of his lesser-known traits… his prowess in the air.

The 5ft 8in forward flew in the air to hit a cross during a recent training session and slammed a header into the back of the net.

And as Griezmann solemnly drove away, he cried: “Harry Kane!”

Tottenham star Kaneat 28, three years younger than Griezmann, has recently rediscovered his shooting shoes.

The striker, who had been unsettled for much of the season since trying to force a move from Spurs last summer, was back under goals.

And his penalty in England’s 2-1 win over Switzerland on Saturday shook him level with Sir Bobby Charlton for most Three Lions goals at 49.

Now only Wayne Rooneystands between itself and the history books with 53 goals.

Meanwhile, Griezmann is looking to add to his 42 goals in 103 caps for France in Tuesday’s friendly against South Africa.

The forward is trying to regain his old form – in his first spell at Atleti he has scored 94 goals in 180 LaLiga games.

But after his £108m move to Barcelona in 2019, his form changed and he was loaned out to Los Rojiblancos earlier this season.

Despite the emotional return, Griezmann has only scored three goals in 17 league games.
