Warzone’s big health change is about to ruin the meta weapons

The Call of Duty: Warzone developers have announced some pretty big changes coming in the near future, and that could mean bad news for some of the battle royale’s best weapons of the moment.

Ever since Warzone first launched as part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, health and armor have always been a big topic of conversation. It’s just set too low for some players considering how quickly the current weapon collection can wipe out an enemy.

Other fans prefer how things played out when Iron Trials LTM existed, as the health and armor stats were increased significantly, resulting in much smoother gunfights.

Those fans hoping for health and armor changes are apparently in luck, as Raven Software has brought the community’s temperature up to what they’d like to see going forward – with an overwhelming majority for a slight increase to around 150 health .

Some players have repeatedly asked for increased health in Warzone.

However, as a Warzone YouTuber who is immortal points out that this change will likely mean bad news for some of the game’s most popular weapons, as the TTK will change drastically.

Using statistics provided by TrueGameDatathe YouTuber noted that the Cooper Carbine and Automaton – with their current meta builds – could see a huge drop compared to the CR-56 AMAX, which would jump straight to the top of the TTK queue.

The YouTuber points to the Bren, which was the weapon of choice for most in Caldera, noting that it could still be a dominant force, but likely sits behind both the AMAX and the Cold War AK-47 would, assuming there were no massive weapon tweaks.

Of course, since this health change is part of Season 2’s Reloaded update, we can expect some weapon adjustments – but maybe not as many as before.

In any case, the meta is going to be changing massively very soon, so it’s best to be prepared for what the developers have up their sleeves. Warzone’s big health change is about to ruin the meta weapons
