Warzone streamer MuTeX is calling on Verdansk LTM to “revive” the player base.

Call of Duty: Warzone streamer MuTeX has a plan to bring the game’s players back in full force. The player uses his platform to convince the developers that it’s time for the Verdansk map to return as a limited time mode.

Warzone’s voyage to the Pacific and the introduction of the Caldera map wasn’t met with the sunshine one might expect from such a tropical destination. The game hasn’t quite returned to its old hype just yet proven by the viewership on Twitch.

One of the biggest streamers in Warzone, MuTeX, is very aware of the BR situation. Additionally, he said lobbies are harder to fill these days – indicating a decline in the player base.

Fortunately, the tournament participant and streamer has a way to fix this problem. In a series of tweets to his nearly 100,000 followers, he simply urges the developers to bring Verdansk back in an LTM.

Return of Verdansk as Warzone LTM?

In a March 17th tweet, MuTeX tagged the developers as asking if it was possible to bring Verdansk back as a limited time mode. He simply discussed the idea as an experiment to see if it might help “revive the game a bit”.

As for the game needing a revival, MuTeX claimed that “lobbies are almost impossible to fill right now” and that this problem is new to him.

Many agreed with the streamer that returning from Verdansk would bring them back to Warzone. Even another streamer, FaZe Blaze, called He would “stream Warzone every day” when the map returned.

With that sort of support for the idea, MuTeX went into more detail – further explaining the tweaks he’d like to see in a limited-time mode for the map.

MuTeX calls on Warzone to bring back Verdansk with Pacific changes

Added Warzone Season 2 Reinsert balloons and improved health to the game. If there is a Verdansk LTM, MuTeX wants these changes to persist. Looking at the tall buildings of Verdansk, one can see how the balloons in particular would add a significant twist to the game with vertical mobility.

Funnily enough, both the balloons and the HP changes align with aspects of Apex Legends. Bringing Verdansk back into the rotation would also be similar to Apex rotating maps regularly.

Whether or not the player base is actually smaller, it seems that the CoD developers have another easy way to take a page from the book of Apex Legends if they want to satisfy MuTeX and the thousands who share its desire .
