Warzone Gurus JGOD & TrueGameData explain why “Melee Lung” doesn’t exist

Warzone experts JGOD and TrueGameData have responded to community calls about the nerf melee lung by saying it’s not possible to fix something that doesn’t exist.

There are many different Warzone analysts on the scene, but none are more trusted than JGOD and TrueGameData.

These two typically define the pro weapon meta, finding secret tweaks and providing tips to improve a player’s gameplay. Now they’re ending a long community outcry in which players are asking for the Melee Strikeout to be nerfed.

If you’ve spent time in Warzone, then you’ve certainly had your share of “unfair” melee kills. Lunging has been a major complaint since Warzone came out. From countless calls to nerfing the damage to the ground it covers, players have responded vociferously, but their request cannot be granted.

JGOD & TrueGameData Rule Out Melee Attack Rumors

In response to a Twitter clip in which a player demanded that Raven Software call for “Nerf Melee Longe,” JGOD laughed at the sacrifice as he said it doesn’t exist in Warzone.

JGOD referred to this simply as “desync”. For people who might not know, desyncing occurs when the game doesn’t register where you are on the map. This can happen due to internet connection or server issues.

However, when it does occur, you’ll find that it seems like you’re really far from someone creating the “lung”. But in reality, you’re synced to their side right in front of them, so it looks normal.

It’s a known issue with cameras in Warzone, as explained by JGOD, that there’s a lot of desyncing during gameplay, resulting in some unusual shooting. That’s why people get beaten even though they’re far away.

Melee war zone

In Warzone, players complain about melee attacks, but it’s just a desync.

Colleague Warzone expert TGD jumped in and supported JGOD by saying: “I’m glad someone out there understands. He sees people complaining about this “glitch” every day, but realistically it’s a desync issue that can’t be patched in an update.

Overall, the two agreed that the melee lung is not broken in Warzone, just that the game has desync issues, making it seem like melee is the problem when in fact it is desync.
