Warzone 2 Update 1.11 Patch Notes restores Proximity Chat for everyone

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Update 1.11 was released today, November 23rd, but at least the patch notes are much shorter than the day-one update. Fixes include everyone now being able to use proximity chat properly, while players no longer get stuck on the plane during infiltration in Battle Royale.

WAY OF PLAY

• The inventory of the buy station has been slightly adjusted:
  • Counter UAV removed
  • Tactical camera removed
• Visual upgrade to Contract Activation Phone in Battle Royale.

TROUBLESHOOTING

• Fixed an issue preventing some players from hearing others through proximity chat.
• Fixed an issue that prevented emotes earned via DMZ Extractions from appearing on weapons.
• Fixed an issue on PlayStation that resulted in players not seeing Sony profile usernames.
• Fixed an issue that caused the parachute deployment to crash the game.
• Fixed an issue that caused players to lose control of mouse movement when interacting with a container with the Mixed Backpack behavior.

Battle Royale

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players being eliminated in the Gulag either spectating the enemy team or from below the playable area.
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players who were eliminated in the Gulag not appearing in the Buy Station for Squad members to buy them back.
• Fixed an issue that caused players to skip the downed state and die instantly even though an assimilated squad member was still alive.
• Fixed an issue that prevented players from jumping out of the plane during infil.
• Fixed an issue that caused the after-action report to display correctly after a match.

DMZ

• Fixed an issue that resulted in players being kicked out of the backpack UI when looting an eliminated player opponent who disconnected mid-interaction.
• Fixed an issue preventing players from equipping lethal and tactical gear.
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players encountering the “Failed to Connect to Datacenters” error when extracting.
• Fixed an issue that caused lobby-wide microphone input during matchmaking.
• Fixed an issue that allowed players to keep Armor Plate Carrier upgrades between games even though they were eliminated.
• Fixed an issue that caused players to lose their backpack upgrade when extracting after reviving.
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players incorrectly extracting their insured weapon as a contraband weapon.
