Warm weather continues for now, but arctic blast, Winter weather is on the horizon

The next possible cold blast in Oklahoma could come on New Year’s Day! After a record-breaking warm December, this will be quite a change. Right now, there’s also a chance to see some moisture mixing in, which could lead to some Winter precipitation somewhere in the state of Oklahoma. Of course, we’ll be keeping a close eye on this as we get closer to the new year!

For the short term, the mid-60s forecast is windless Monday with a chance of light showers Tuesday before dawn. We’ll once again aim for Tuesday of the ’70s before cooler weather kicks in.
