It’s official visiting time for Arch Manning.
The country’s top-rated recruit will visit Georgia the first weekend in June, followed by Alabama and Texas over the following two weekends as recruiting begins to taper off.
Some have taken him for a skinny Georgia guy, particularly after comments he made to On3 about the school.
“Athens is probably the best university city I’ve ever been to,” Manning said recently. “I love Coach Kirby (Smart) and he’s just a regular guy, a great coach. Georgia, what you can take away from training is that they have athletes all over the field, especially on the defensive line. They have some studs and it shows they had drafted 15 players.”
Manning has long been considered a stallion of the future, not only because of his famous bloodlines. In three years with the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, he threw for more than 6,300 yards and 81 touchdowns as well as 19 rushing scores.
