Virgin Media down: Thousands of Britons can’t connect to the internet or watch TV

virgin vehicle Customers are struggling with an outage that has left thousands of people unconnected.
The reports begin appeared on DownDetector – which monitors websites about power outages – at around 11am this morning, December 2.
Although Virgin Media provides broadband service, 65% of those affected said they were unable to access the company’s TV service.
Virgin Media confirmed this and replied that they are looking into the matter.
The company tweeted: ‘We are aware of an issue currently affecting TV services and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.’
Issues seem to be localized mainly to London, Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham.
One Virgin Media customer tweeted about the company: ‘What’s going on with Broadband in PE4? lost all connection cant even contact on phone or app. ‘
Predictably, many customers took to Twitter to complain to Virgin Media doing its best to appease them.
Virgin Media recently merged with O2 and has deploy gigabit broadband to more than 10 million homes around the UK.
