VIRGIN Media is increasing the number of channels available to TV customers this month.
Customers will be able to access more than 20 additional channels including documentaries, entertainment and music at no additional cost.
Virgin Media TV customers typically get over 100 channels as standard, but there’s a little more when you buy a bundle.
These include terrestrial channels as well as news, music, kids and some sports content.
Its standard Big plan has 109 channels, larger customers get 180, and Ultimate Oomph users get 208.
Customers can also pay extra for entertainment and documentary or entertainment and lifestyle add-ons, which give access to channels like Sky History, Comedy Central, and MTV.
This is £7 extra but the second will cost £5 if you add both.
So customers can pay an extra £12 per month on their regular TV and broadband deal to access more content.
But many of these channels are being made available to customers for free this month.
Customers can enjoy popular channels including Comedy Central Extra, Crime & Survey, MTV and Sky History.
That means phone junkies can watch top shows like Impractical Jokers on Comedy Central Extra or Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman on Sky History.
A wide range of leading Asian channels will also be offered from the popular Asian Mela package.
