Vikings RB Dalvin Cook expected to play Thursday

Minnesota Vikings rerun Dalvin Cook is scheduled to play Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, putting him ahead of schedule to return from a shoulder injury.
NFL Network reports that 10 days of intense rehabilitation got him back on track when the Vikings (5-7) took on the Steelers (6-5-1).
Cook was listed in Wednesday’s injury report as a limited participant. He has done first-team reps in practice, according to reports.
Cook was ejected from the field after receiving a massive blow from San Francisco 49ers defensive midfielder Kevin Givens on November 28. Cook clutched the left side of his chest after the hit and lay on the ground for several minutes. as medical staff and teammates surrounded him. . He fumbled for the ball to hit the target.
The 26-year-old has played in nine games this season, hitting 773 yards and scoring four touchdowns. He passed 1,100 yards in each of the previous seasons.
Cook is not expected to return to action until the December 20 game against the Chicago Bears.
Vikings ruled out leader Adam Thielen due to an ankle injury.
