Viewers split between Joe Biden and Peter Doocy Debacle

Host Lisa Ling wasn’t impressed with Biden’s words and thought he should do better as a role model. “I think one of the reasons Joe Biden was elected, despite his history of being a cannonball, is that he was supposed to restore politeness to the office. These are the people who should set an example. That’s more examples of men behaving badly,” commented Ling (via YouTube).

On Ling’s side was host Sunny Hostin, who agreed it was “under the dignity of the presidency,” per The Wrap. Though, she was impressed when Biden reached out to apologize to Doocy, adding, “What I appreciate is that he called and he apologized. That’s something we’ve never seen the former president with. twice impeached, disgraced of this country, forever.”

Ling then emphasized his point, emphasizing, “I just think he should admit that he’s a poor example.” However, she was cut by a rebellious censor Whoopi Goldberg who says, “Oh, no, I’m sorry. He should admit that he’s human, because it happens sometimes people ask you endless stupid questions from a particular place. Sometimes when, you just lose that for a second. What’s different is that he says, “Okay, let me just call him and apologize,” because it happens. I think, for me, it’s representative of what a human being, as president, should be.”
