Harrowing video of an 82-year-old man being attacked by a bull and thrown against a wall during a festival in Spain.

During Sunday’s frightening incident at the Bou en Corda (Bull on a Rope) event in Ontinyent, the bull is seen attacking the elderly man after failing to escape the beast, according to the clip posted by the Daily Mail.

Screams are heard as the man is impaled by the beast’s horns and thrown against the wall before falling to the sidewalk, where he is seen motionless.

The bull continues its charge before being dragged away from the helpless victim with an attached rope.

The man was taken to a local hospital with serious head injuries and a lacerated hand.

The Aragonese Spanish tradition sees adventure seekers trying to bring the bull into the town’s homes in Spain’s Vall d’Albaida region.

“The question is not what that old man was doing there, but who put a cop out on the public street and gave the mob permission to corner him, scare him and anger him,” one wrote Social Media Users in Spanish.

“This country is still determined not to enter the 21st century,” the user added.

This year alone, six people have been killed during bull celebrations in the Spanish region of Valencia.

“Please end these atrocities now,” pleaded another user.
