Vesta Rae Allen, 85, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her son’s home. She was born on January 4, 1936, in Riceville, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Alice (Minnis) Wolff.
Vesta graduated in 1954 from Aurora High School and attended Draughon’s College of Business in Springfield, Missouri. She is a housewife and a housewife.
On March 1, 1956, she married Dale Thomas Allen, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He died before her on June 16, 2006.
Vesta is survived by her son, Dave Allen, and his wife, Melinda of Aurora; two daughters, Carla Maples and her husband, Doug, of Aurora and Linda Hilton of Billings, Missouri; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, with funeral service taking place at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the funeral home. The burial will take place at Orange Cemetery, north of Aurora.
