(Reuters) – The United States administered 471,700,443 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine in the country as of Monday morning, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
These numbers are up from 470,297,846 doses of the vaccine that the CDC said was administered on Sunday.
The agency said 236,018,871 people had received at least one dose while 199,313,022 were fully vaccinated as of 6:00 a.m. ET on Monday.
The CDC tally includes the Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech two-dose vaccines, as well as the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine.
About 47 million people have received a booster dose of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. The booster doses of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorized by the US health regulator on October 20.
