Upcoming Colton trailer shows journey of self-discovery in Netflix series

‘Coming Out Colton’ will premiere on Netflix on December 3.
Netflix has released a trailer for Coming soon Colton, a six-episode series will follow first Bachelor contestant and professional soccer player Colton Underwood as he comes to his family and friends while finding himself.
“I didn’t want to be gay, and the main voices in my head just told me ‘you’ll get through this. You’ll get through this,” Underwood says in the opening of the trailer. The documentary will examine Underwood’s past and detail how he came to embrace who he is. Along the way, viewers will also see Underwood confront his biggest fear: becoming gay with his father.
Underwood will also seek to reconcile with Cassie Randolph are from Bachelor. Based on Deadline, Underwood placed a tracking device on her car and sent her troubling text messages, which resulted in Randolph having to file a restraining order against him. “I put a poor girl through a hell of her own insecurities,” he said of his harrowing relationship with Randolph.
Coming soon Colton will also tell the story of the incredibly difficult process of stepping out and learning to embrace your own identity in the face of uncertainty. Underwood was a professional soccer player before becoming a contestant in the 14th season of Bachelorette. Although he didn’t win, he was announced as a bachelor for Season 23 of Bachelor. In an interview with Good Morning America Earlier this year, Underwood came out as gay, making him the first major bachelor in the series’ history. “Everybody’s coming stories are different, and I’m grateful to be able to add my own to the conversation,” Colton said near the end of the trailer.
