‘Untouchable’: Ange Postecoglou has blocked the exit of Tottenham midfielder – Romano

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has reportedly blocked a possible departure of Pape Matar Sarr.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou thinks highly of Pape Matar Sarr and thinks he’s a great talent.
Ange Postecoglou wants to keep Pape Matar Sarr at Tottenham Hotspur
The Italian journalist reported about it Twitter that Postecoglou didn’t want Sarr to leave Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
Romano added that there had been several offers for the 20-year-old Senegalese international defensive midfielder but Spurs and Postecoglou decided to keep the youngster.

Sarr started for Tottenham against Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.
And the 20-year-old was great.
Sarr is only 20 and a huge talent.
It would have been a mistake for Tottenham to loan the Senegalese out again.
After all, Sarr was on loan at Metz last season.
If the defensive midfielder is to have a long-term future at Tottenham, he needs to be part of the first-team squad.
There’s no point in Sarr being loaned out to another league.
Of course, we can’t let ourselves be overwhelmed by a single good performance.
While Sarr played exceptionally well against Manchester United, it was just one game.
We’ll have to see how the defensive midfielder does regularly over the coming weeks and months.
We believe Sarr would thrive.
Tottenham are aiming for a place in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
