Ukraine-Russia War LIVE: Putin’s forces ‘trying to storm’ Mariupol plant as images suggest mass graves have been found near town
Vladimir Putin’s Russian forces have attempted to storm the base of the last Ukrainian resistance in Mariupol, the Ukrainian military said.
Troops are said to have attacked the Azovstal Steelworks despite an order from President Putin demand the opposite.
Most of Mariupol is under it Russian Control and the city’s mayor Vadym Boychenko said around 100,000 residents remained trapped in the conflict zone.
Satellite images have since been discovered showing what can be seen Mass graves in a town near Mariupolwhile officials accuse Russia of “hiding their military crimes” there.
Mayor Boychenko previously said a 30-meter-long mass grave had been discovered in Manhush, some 11 miles west of Mariupol.
