UK to consider diplomatic presence at Beijing Olympics – Raab | WSAU News / Talk 550 AM · 99.9 FM

LONDON (Reuters) – Britain will, of course, consider whether to impose a diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab said on Tuesday.
U.S. government officials will boycott the Olympics in Beijing because of China’s “atrocities” on human rights, the White House said on Monday. Beijing says Washington is plotting to disrupt the Olympics.
“I’ve been asked if I’m going, I’m not going, and we’ll look at that (wider representation) in due course,” Raab said.
