UFO sightings in Wisconsin may have been a local Christmas light show

Strange bright lights visible in Wisconsin skies earlier this month, speculated by some to be unidentified flying objects, may have been nothing more than searchlights from a home famous for its annual Christmas light show.
The simple explanation for the mysterious lights over farmland near West Bend and Fredonia in Badger State was shared Tuesday night by renowned UFO investigator Mick West.
West, suspicious of the gossip that the lights in the sky were UFOs, conducted his own investigation to shed his own light on their mysterious origins.
Using the approximate locations of two witnesses, he determined the lights may have been radiating from Belgium, Wisconsin — about 40 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. He emailed the Belgian Chamber of Commerce to ask about the lights and was told there was indeed a locally famous Christmas light show on County Road B “which had just added some spotlights this year,” West said in a clip posted on YouTube.
West learned the light show was being directed by the Flanders family, who confirmed they had added six moving spotlights to the spectacle this year and sent him a video.

“Their headlights are on the roofline and they slant down towards the position of one of the videos so it aligns pretty much perfectly,” West said.
“So case solved,” he concluded. “No UFOs, just some searchlights – a fun little investigation. But the real mystery here is why people thought it might have been something else.”
But former FBI agent Ben Hansen, who also hosts Discovery+ show UFO Witness, was less convinced of West’s conclusion.

“I respect you @mickwest but that doesn’t add up. The Flemish Christmas exhibition is 20 km from our witnesses. The family informed us that they use 380W DMX party lights (DJ stage lights). This video is taken from the house from 2 miles away. Do we really have to drive 10 miles back?” He tweeted with a video showing the headlights in the night sky.
“The display runs every evening from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. So if that was the explanation, you could see it every day for the past few weeks. The light movement is programmed, repeated and not random.
“Not to mention the pattern does not resemble what was captured on camera, nor are any rays visible at all in the witness videos. This demo was recorded under similar conditions (as the event) at 10:50 p.m. You may think the case is solved, but we still have work to do.”
